Trip Schedule
🏕️ Friday, May 29
Arrive and set up camp at the campground. Settle in and enjoy the evening outdoors with your fellow Troop 25 families.
🛶 Saturday, May 30
Launch canoes and float part of the 28-mile route on the Current River. Pull up on a riverbank for the night — camp under the stars right along the water.
🏁 Sunday, May 31
Finish the float trip and head home. Depending on timing, lunch may be on the river or at the take-out point.

Food Planning
Food arrangements are still being finalized. Meals may be handled as a group or each scout and adult can carry food in their own canoe. Plan for the following meals:
- Saturday morning (before launch)
- Saturday lunch (on the river)
- Saturday dinner (riverbank camp)
- Sunday morning (riverbank camp)
- Sunday lunch (on the river or at take-out)

Canoe deposit of $120.00 is due by March 11, 2026. Additional fees for camping and food may apply.

🛶 Canoes

- Each scout must have a parent or adult (21+) in their canoe
🌙 Saturday Night
- Camp on a riverbank along the Current River
- Pull canoes up on shore
- Pack what you need in your canoe for overnight

- Camping gear that fits in a canoe
- Dry bags for gear and electronics
- Sunscreen and bug spray

👨👩👦 Parents & Adults
