What The Chartered Organization Provides
Every Scouts BSA troop operates under an annual charter issued to a local organization. That organization provides a foundation of accountability, community presence, and support. For Troop 25, that role is held by the Kiwanis Club of South County.
- Approval & registration of the Chartered Organization Representative (COR)
- Review/authorization of adult leadership positions
- Facility or meeting space coordination (directly or via community partners)
- Insurance and charter renewal signatures
- Community visibility and advocacy for the troop
